    Questions?

Is Natal Support right for me?

Natal Support is formulated with 20 essential nutrients for those who are working on preconception care, currently pregnant or post-partum.

What testing is completed on Natal Support?

Natal Support is tested to ensure what's on the label is contained within the capsules.

Every batch is also 3rd party tested to ensure that our products are compliant with TGA regulations. It is also tested for and certified free from heavy metals, microbes and major allergens to ensure our products are safe.

How much Choline does Natal Support have?

A huge 400mgs per dose - our formulation is one of the highest doses of Choline in the Australian market. Choline is folates new best friend and is important for the neural tube development and brain/ cognitive development of the foetus.

Up to 95% of pregnant women are deficient in choline - which is why we've put a huge focus on this nutrient. Natal Support has got you covered.

Why do we use Activated Folate (levomefolic acid)?

More than 50% of the Australian population have a gene mutation (MTHFR) where the body cannot convert folic acid into Methyl-Folate (most bioavailable form and easily absorbed form). Our formula skips the conversion process to give you the most bioavailable form of folate.

Why doesn’t Natal Support contain iron?

We left iron out of our formulation on purpose! Here are the reasons why:

    • Zinc and iron compete for absorption and zinc is a key ingredient for preconception health.
    • Iron dosage should be individualised based on your specific pathology and requirements during pregnancy. This is why it's best dosed separately to your Natal Support Supplement.
    • We wanted to be inclusive and ensure everyone could take Natal Support, we've left iron out for those with hemochromatosis.

When should I start taking Natal Support?

Ideally, 3 months prior to your conception journey. Otherwise start taking Natal Support as soon as you find out that you're pregnant. You should continue taking Natal Support throughout your breastfeeding journey if you're breastfeeding and 8 weeks post-partum if you're not.

When is the best time of day to take Natal Support?

Ideally two capsules together after breakfast (at least 30 - 60minutes away from caffeine).

You can also split the dose and take 1 capsule after breakfast and 1 capsule after lunch.

A note from our founder - try to avoid taking Natal Support at night due to the B group vitamins - these can promote energy and we want you to have a restful nights sleep.

I’m struggling with pregnancy nausea, is there another way to take Natal Support?

Empty your capsules into your favourite smoothie, mix with coconut water or beverage of choice or freeze into icy poles with coconut water or juice.

Do your capsules have a taste?

No, there is no taste when swallowng the capsules.

      The best I’ve had

I’ve tried many prenatal supplements over the last 7 years and this is an absolute stand out. I feel great - despite the fact my baby is feeding up to 8 times a night, it doesn’t give me any digestive symptoms or heartburn and it’s easy to take. I love that it doesn’t have iron in it in keeping with the latest research and evidence and I’m able to dose my iron separately.

      Favourite Natal supplement so far!

I've been pregnant and/or breast-feeding for over 5 years now so I've tried my share of natal supplements and after a few weeks into taking Natal Support I can already tell it exceeds the others. I feel energised, balanced and less moody. Even on days when I've had no sleep the night before I come to life and sustain that feeling til bedtime.

      Looks good

First week feeling good so far. I've noticed a bit more energy than normal.

Would love if the graphic layout of the vitamins and their qty were listed in one or two columns on the label so it's easier to read. I'm also a fan of QR codes that link to instructions and advise as I did a search and there's certain foods that are recommended to eat when taking vitamins with iron so i'm always wanting to get the most out of the vitamins if I can. Please share all the tips.

      Happily converted!

I used a popular prenatal in a pink and white box for my first pregnancy and always felt nauseous after taking it, so had to take it just before heading off to sleep. I am now trying for another child and my own research led me on a search for a wholesome prenatal vitamin that contained folate rather than the synthetic form of folic acid, along with chlorine and healthy levels of other essential vitamins and minerals to support a healthy pregnancy. I found All Things Better Natal Support and have been taking it for over a month now and can happily report that I’ve had no issues with nausea, taking it after breakfast and dinner. So much so, that I’ve stoked up for the coming months! I look forward to an iron supplement that can be taken alongside this, that is just as gentle on the tummy!
